The MOYA-Museum of Young Art The MOYA - Museum of Young Art, founded
in 2006, was the first museum exclusively dedicated to Young Art. The private
Museum was founded by the swiss and german art historian and collector Dr. Kolja
Kramer, who was educated in Vienna, London and Bern. Young Art in the MOYA
is defined by art from the 21st century. The main aim is international communication
and promotion of contemporary art. The dynamic additional concept of receptions,
meetings and conferences inside the museum follows the aim to constantly create
new art public, specially for Young Art. The MOYA presents art works
from its permanent collection as well as from temporary internal and external
exhibitions and the moyaworld exhibitions. The MOYA also supports Young
Art by the fact that in case of selling artworks that are not part of the inalienable
MOYA collection 100% goes to the artist or their galleries. The MOYA
is located in the Palais Schönborn in the center of Vienna. The Palais
dates back to the late 17th century and was built by the famous austrian architect
Fischer v. Erlach, who also built the Vienna Karlskirche. The MOYA shows
artworks on two floors on ca. 1000m². Some of the 12 exhibition halls are
Salons still in the original Rococo state, others are kept in simple neutral white
without decorative elements. Further information please find on www.moya-vienna.at.
